During this school you will be working on your own projects using Gaia data. Make sure you have the following available on your laptop:
- Python
- An up to date Python environment (anaconda is recommended). For the GaiaSky tutorial Python version 3.10 or later is recommended.
- Gaia archive tutorial
- Topcat is very useful for manipulating Gaia tables and interacting with the Gaia archive and other data repositories. In addition it offers nice cross-match facilities.
- Gaia selection function tutorial
- Make sure to have installed the GaiaUnlimited tools.
- The public engagement training
