Advanced AMUSE workshop in Heidelberg
We are organizing an advanced school on the use of AMUSE for
astrophysical simulations. If you ever considered using AMUSE for
your astronomical multi-scale and multi-physics simulations, this may
be the opportune moment to join us in Heidelberg from March 23 to 29.

The school will be for graduate students to full professors with a
specific interest in learning how to use AMUSE and how to expand your
own codes' user base by including an AMUSE-complient interface.
During the school we will:
Experts will be preset during the entire week to help you to achieve
your objectives; This includes AMUSE staff and advanced users.
In addition, we will have an open discussion on the future prospects
and planned expansions for AMUSE, and computational astrophysics in
general.
We plan on working on a series of challenging projects, to which you are
cordially invited to participate. They include:
Torch: The development of star forming region simulations from molecular cloud until all the gas is gone.
Uses AMUSE in combination with Flash, Petar, and SeBa.
Nemesis: Simulating planetary systems in young stellar clusters.
Uses AMUSE in combination with ph4, symplectic and secular planetary integration
LonelyPlanets: Simulationg planetary systems with asteroids and comets in globular clusters and Galactic nuclei.
Uses AMUSE in a stages process with cluster dynamical code and secular integration
